Today is 16th!

It is not just a Malaysian day to me, but also
HAPPY BIRTHDAY MUMMY

(I don't know if I should show my gratitude over here or to describe how terribly terrible am I as your daughter and to repent, not? :p)
Whatever it is, I'll just cramp everything simple and sweet ;)

First of all, thank you for giving birth to me. I already disappointed you since the moment I was borned despite knowing that you desired for a baby boy and you turned out to have a boy-like daughter *blush* LOL. Very awesome of you to be able to handle my roughness and rudeness all the time. I am tough like that, but you are even tougher :) Besides, you never stop educating me on every aspects as human especially about  LIFE. Your words of advice made me into a better person(Am I, no? :p) Also, thank you for lending your ears at times. Trust me, it is not easy to be my listener. My voice can tear your eardrum :\ It was so sweet when you drove me to get ice cream when I was in major depression <3 Last but not least, thank you for providing the most essential thing in life: LOVE. I can feel it endlessly and eternally. :)

*Ah, I did not wish you through text/ facebook (but look, wishes do not matter much as long as I remember kay :p -hence I dedicate a post for ya)

Lotsoflove,
Qiu Yu

Don't ever look back

The night before last Sunday, I was so happy to receive a text from Yee Han asking me to join her along to celebrate Mid-Autumn Festival -Mooncake Festival :D As always, the both of us planned stuff at the last minute and went with it xD

The next morning, I sneaked out from the house(parents not home) and took bus to her house. I got to taste her mum's delicious vegetarian porridge, been wanting to :D Stucked at her house for a few hours doing homeworks, surfing the net and ordered Domino's pizzas! Apparently, we ended up with THREE regular pizzas and a large bottle of 100plus (Did I mention the celebration is between the both of us ONLY?). Without any choice, we challenged ourselves to finish all during our night celebration :\

Next, we left the house and walked to Sunshine Farlim to get my lantern ^^ Limited choice and I bought childish Winnie The Pooh lantern xP We changed our plan(last minute, again!) and head to Straits Quay instead of Esplanade by bus for the night due to rainy weather.

we roooooooooolllllll this way B)

Yee Han :)

Yourstruly :)

We called TEN buddies and wished them Happy Mooncake Festival out of boredom :) and we snapsnap!

Hello, September.

And not to forget, tomorrow (I mean today, *clock strikes 12:44*) is the last day of one week Raya holidays ): I dislike most of the time, my holidays started off freely and later on, schedule got packed and everything jumbled up at the last minute -.- hehe ps; tons of homeworks! :P

Anyways, I went to the Popular bookstore this afternoon and there was this 'Buy One & 2nd @ 50% discount' section (yeah, sales season now!). I looked through the collection of books there and as always, books' titles caught my attention. I saw a book

Love The One You're With
by Emily Giffin

Few weeks back, my friend mentioned about this novel in Facebook. In school, I saw someone was having it. Really, I want to read this -although I am NEVER a fan of novels. But after reading the sinopsis at the back of the book, it really got me more into it despite the story line sorts of reflecting on me :O

Here's the short description (pasted from here);
Ellen and Andy's first year of marriage doesn't just seem perfect, it IS perfect. There is no question how deep their devotion is, and how naturally they bring out the best in each other. Then, one fateful afternoon, Ellen runs into Leo for the first time in eight years. Leo, the one who brought out the worst in her. Leo, the one who left her heartbroken with no explanation. Leo, the one she could never quite forget. When his reappearance ignites long-dormant emotions, Ellen begins to question whether the life she's living is the one she's meant to live. LOVE THE ONE YOU'RE WITH is a powerful story about one woman at the crossroads of true love and real life.

How can I truly love the one I'm with when I can't forget the one who got away?
-quoted  from the book.
